Arizona, Portland & San Jose camps open this weekend

As the 2007 season draws near, training camps around the league resume this weekend. All thirteen teams are in action as opening night is just over a month away. Ten teams began training camp last weekend, while the Arizona Sting, Portland LumberJax and San Jose Stealth open camp this weekend.

Arizona Sting Head Coach Bob Hamley and team captain Dan Dawson will round up their troops for camp beginning on Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 2006 Western Division regular season champion Portland LumberJax, led by Head Coach Derek Keenan and 2006 Rookie of the Year Brodie Merrill, begin their second season this weekend with the opening of their training camp in Richmond, British Columbia.

The San Jose Stealth and head coach Walt Christensen open camp on Saturday in Buffalo, NY. The Stealth will return to California on December 1st as camp continues.
