All-Star weekend in Edmonton approaching

Colorado's Gavin Prout and Toronto's Jim Veltman have been named Team Captains of the West and East Division All-Stars, respectively. The 2008 NLL All-Star Weekend will take place at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta. The Rush will host the defending champion Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday at 6:00 PM EST, immediately followed by the All-Star Skills Competition. The 2008 NLL All-Star Game takes place on Sunday at 4:00 PM EST.Edmonton forward Mike Accursi and Portland defender Brodie Merrill will serve as Assistant Captains for the West Division All-Stars, while Minnesota defender Ryan Cousins and Buffalo forward John Tavares will be Assistant Captains for the East Division All-Stars.
