RUSH & LUMBERJAX SWAP GOALTENDERS

Edmonton acquires King and Crashley for Disher

03/25/2008

The Edmonton Rush have traded veteran 31-year-old goaltender Matt Disher and their 2009 fourth round draft pick to Portland in exchange for 25-year-old goaltender Matt King, defenseman Ian Crashley, and Portland's 2009 first round draft pick.

Disher had split time in Edmonton with Curtis Palidwor this year, but Palidwor has gotten the nod in recent weeks as the team's starter.

King has played the bulk of time in goal for the LumberJax this season, but has a poor save percentage at 72%.
