Palidwor, Edmonton defense holds San Jose to five goals

The Edmonton Rush topped the San Jose Stealth, 12-5, at Rexall Place on Saturday. The win deadlocks the Rush with Calgary for the final playoff spot in the West.Curtis Palidwor and the Rush defense held San Jose to a season-low five goals.
Nine different players scored goals for the Rush, with Jimmy Quinlan scoring three goals to lead the balanced attack.
Jeff Zywicki scored three of San Jose's five goals, while Cam Sedgwick scored the other two. Anthony Cosmo allowed 11 goals and was credited with the loss.
Edmonton (3-7) hosts the Calgary Roughnecks next Saturday at Rexall Place. San Jose (6-5) meets the Portland LumberJax in a home-and-home series, kicking off next Saturday at the Rose Garden.
