Former Rush forward returns to Roughnecks

The Calgary Roughnecks signed forward Kyle Goundrey and defenseman Kris Hartzell to one-year contracts.

Goundrey, a native of Richmond, British Columbia, played in 12 games for Edmonton last year, tallying eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points. Prior to his time with the Rush, the 33-year-old spent six seasons with Calgary. Since 2002, Goundrey has played in 91 games for Calgary recording 264 points, on 78 goals and 186 assists, and scooped 425 loose balls.

Hartzell, a native of Edmonton, played in one game for the Rush in 2008.
