ALL-STAR RESERVES ANNOUNCED
Dallas Eliuk & Jim Veltman named All-Star Game head coaches

The National Lacrosse League has announced the reserves for the 2009 All-Star Game, which will be played at Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday, March 7th. The Eastern and Western Division starting lineups were announced earlier this week. A total of 36 players will participate in the All-Star Game.The All-Star teams will each be coached by a member of the league's Hall of Fame Class of 2009. Jim Veltman will coach the Eastern Division All-Stars, while Dallas Eliuk will coach the Western Division All-Stars. Both will be inducted into the league's Hall of Fame on March 7, in a ceremony to take place at Pepsi Center in the afternoon. The All-Star Game will be played that evening.

March 3 update: East Team Injury Replacements
Philadelphia Wings forward Drew Westervelt, New York Titans forward Brendan Mundorf, and Titans defenders Jarett Park and rookie Stephen Peyser have been added as reserves for the East Division in the 2009 NLL All-Star Game, which takes place on Saturday at Pepsi Center in Denver.
The four players replace Titans forward Casey Powell, Titans defender Greg Peyser, Toronto Rock defender Cam Woods, and Wings transition-man Geoff Snider, who all missed action in Week 9 due to injuries.
Park is appearing in his second All-Star Game, while Westervelt, Mundorf and Peyser are making their first appearance.

The 2009 All-Star Game takes place on Saturday, March 7th at Pepsi Center in Denver, home of the Colorado Mammoth. All-Star Weekend begins on Friday, March 6 with the NLL Experience and All-Star Skills Competition. On March 7, NLL Hall of Fame Class of 2009 members Dallas Eliuk and Jim Veltman will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of a special afternoon event at Pepsi Center.
