Second-year member of Crush works at tutoring center
02/23/2009
25-year old Kelly was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She completed a bachelor's degree at the University of Victoria before moving to Edmonton in 2006 to pursue graduate studies at the University of Alberta. She completed her Master's degree in Educational Psychology in the spring of 2008.Currently, Kelly works full-time at a tutoring centre, where she works with students aged 3 to 17. It is a very fulfilling job and she truly loves going to work every day. Kelly is also active in the Edmonton community, volunteering regularly at a not-for-profit counselling agency, coordinating charity events for the Canadian Paraplegic Association, and most importantly, dancing with Edmonton's Crush Dance Team.
A second-year member of the Crush, Kelly finds that being part of the team fulfills her three greatest passions: dance, sport, and performance. She feels lucky to have the opportunity to dance in front of thousands of amazing fans, and to support a team she loves to watch in a city she's proud to live in. It is also an honor for her to be on a team with 15 of the smartest, sexiest, most talented girls she's ever met.
Kelly's hobbies include sailing, shopping, doing crosswords and playing Cranium. She is a strict vegetarian but could easily live off McDonalds french fries and Starbucks coffee. One day Kelly plans to complete her PhD and have a private practice in the field of Child Psychology. Right now though, she is just looking forward to the 2009 NLL season. Go Rush!
