GAME PICKS: NLL Finals – Game 3

It is the irresistible force versus the immovable object as Game 3 will decide the winner of the National Lacrosse League Cup this Saturday evening.

The hard work and grind of the season comes down to one final meeting in Saskatoon between the Knighthawks and Rush. In what has developed into a fascinating rivalry over the 2018 campaign, this matchup is truly unpredictable. Each home team has dominated the visitor in this series, but with the wrinkle that Rochester did win at Sasktel Centre earlier in the year.

I discussed the finale with NLL analyst Brian Shanahan as we make our official prediction.

Game 3: Rochester Knighthawks at Saskatchewan Rush – Saturday, 9:30pm ET

Andy

What will see Saturday? Another one-sided outcome or a tight to the vest thriller? These clubs know eachother very well by now and I get the feeling we’re in for a one goal nail-biter. When the smoke clears it will be the Rush celebrating their second championship in three years.

Pick: Rush

Pick: Rush

Tyson

Home floor. I don’t see them losing another championship in front of their home crowd. They were flat last game… they’re be coming out with a vengeance in this game.

Pick: Rush

Ashley

This one is hard but I’m going to stick with my initial pick, the Knighthawks. This team has shown grit and gumption at every turn. It won’t be easy and the team who has the best transition showing will come out on top, but why not Rochester ?

Pick: Knighthawks
