NLL Productions Adds Talent and Expands West

The National Lacrosse League (NLL), the largest men’s professional indoor lacrosse league in North America, has today announced that the NLL Productions staff will be expanding for the 2017-2018 season with the addition of Ashley Docking. Docking joins the NLL most recently from CHCH in Hamilton.  With the addition of Ashley Docking in the East, current NLL host Mia Gordon will be the new West Coast correspondent for NLL Productions, thereby expanding its current footprint.

“NLL TV and NLL Productions were a resounding success last season. NLLTV produced a record number of viewers and more fans tuned in than ever before to watch live games and exceptionally unique feature videos. We are pleased to announce a number of upgrades to the network for this upcoming season. We are adding even more brilliant talent to our NLL Productions staff and expanding our footprint coast-to-coast,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz. “With this expansion we hope to provide fans with further coverage and an unprecedented amount of access to their favorite team, players and storylines.”

Ashley Docking brings a wealth of sports media experience from her previous positions working at CHCH as the sports and weather anchor, as well as a moderator and producer for Homestand Sports. Docking has also worked for several other media outlets such as Anthem Media, NBA TV Canada, NBA Summer League and the CBC. In addition, Docking has reported and hosted programs for the Edmonton Oilers and City TV. Docking will work as an East Coast Correspondent for NLL Productions alongside current NLL host and reporter, Tyson Geick.

Since the beginning of NLL Productions, Mia Gordon has established herself as one of the fastest rising sports personalities on air. During her career, Gordon has appeared on several networks such as CHCH, Leafs TV, TSN and the CBC, covering a vast range of sports. She had also previously served as the in-arena host for the Toronto Rock and host of Ticats TV for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. As the new West Coast correspondent, Gordon will continue to do what she does best: creating and telling stories.

This season NLL Productions will have weekly feature stories as well as The Box, pre and post game shows. NLL Productions will be at the NLL arenas across North America throughout the 81 game season as well as playoffs and Champions Cup.
