The Buffalo Bandits and Philadelphia Wings have announced a trade with Buffalo sending forward Luke Wiles to Philadelphia in exchange for two second-round picks in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft.

The 31-year-old Wiles, an eight-year veteran who spent the last two seasons with the Bandits after two years with the Stealth organization, recorded 21 points (10+11) in limited action over 12 games last season. The Orillia, Ont. native led Buffalo in 2012 with 39 goals en route to 70 points (39+31) to finish second on the team in scoring.

Wiles, who was drafted by the Wings with the fourth overall selection in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft before being traded to the Stealth midway through the 2006 season, will return to where his career began.

The transaction marks the third trade by the Wings in the past couple days as the team recently acquired goaltender Evan Kirk from the Minnesota Swarm along with forward Ryan Hotaling and draft picks from the Colorado Mammoth.
