The National Lacrosse League's roster cutdown deadline on Monday, Dec. 16 has passed and teams have announced their 20-man active rosters and practice squads for the upcoming 2014 NLL season. Find each team's roster below to see which of the best lacrosse players in the world made the final cut.

Buffalo Bandits

Forwards (8): Ryan Benesch, Chad Culp, Joe Resetarits, Jamie Rooney, Mark Steenhuis, John Tavares, Shawn Williams and Aaron Wilson.

Transition (5): David Brock, Kevin Brownell, Dhane Smith, Jay Thorimbert and Andrew Watt.

Defensemen (5): Glen Bryan, Steve Priolo, Billy Dee Smith, Rory Smith and Derek Suddons.

Goaltenders (2): Anthony Cosmo and Kurtis Wagar.

Practice Squad (4): Colin Boucher (D), Jordan Critch (T), Hayden Smith (D) and Mitch Wilde (T).

Injured Reserve (IR): Eric Penney (G).

Calgary Roughnecks

Forwards (6): Matthew Dinsdale, Dane Dobbie, Curtis Dickson, Shawn Evans, Jeff Shattler and Daryl Veltman.

The 2014 NLL regular season begins on Saturday, Dec. 28 when the back-to-back champion Rochester Knighthawks host the Minnesota Swarm at 7:30 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bandits also take on the visiting Philadelphia Wings at 7:30 p.m. ET while West Division play gets underway with the Edmonton Rush at Colorado Mammoth at 9 p.m. ET.
