The Albany Attack have traded forward Troy Cordingley to the Rochester Knighthawks, in exchange for the Knighthawks second round draft pick in the 2001-2002 NLL Entry Draft.

Cordingley, the 5-10, 165-pound forward from Oakville, Ontario collected 30 points on nine goals and 21 assists (9 21=30) in 10 games for Albany this season.

Cordingley, in his ninth season in the MILL/NLL, will look to bring a new offensive look to the League's third-best scoring unit.

"Troy gives us another right handed shot, that we've been looking for," said Knighthawks General Manager Jody Gage. "He brings a lot of playoff and championship experience to our club."

In 83 career regular season games, Cordingley has collected 302 points on 124 goals and 178 assists (124 178=302). Cordingley collected his 300th point last weekend at the HSBC Arena against his former Buffalo Bandits team.

Cordingley began his career with Buffalo in 1993, where he was a member of two of the Bandits MILL Championship teams (1993 and 1996). Cordingley was selected by the Albany Attack in the 1999 Expansion Draft from Buffalo.
