The Toronto Rock clinched their third-straight National Lacrosse League Regular Season title and secured home field advantage throughout the 2001 Champion's Cup Playoffs by
defeating the Rochester Knighthawks 11-4, at the Air Canada Centre Thursday night.
The Knighthawks and the Washington Power have clinched playoff berths for the 2001 playoffs. The Buffalo Bandits and the Philadelphia Wings remain in contention for the fourth and final playoff spot. The top four finishers at the conclusion of the regular season are eligible for the single elimination playoffs that will begin on April 20-22. The Championship game will be played on the weekend of April 27-29. The regular season concludes on April 14, 2001.
