The National Lacrosse League announced the following trade today:
The Rochester Knighthawks traded defenseman Brad MacArthur and forward Jason Crosbie to the Columbus Landsharks for defenseman Marshall Abrams and future considerations.
Abrams was recently placed on the League's All-Rookie Team following an outstanding freshman season. Abrams collected 115 loose balls while matching up against the League's premier forwards for the Landsharks.
The Columbus Landsharks acquire Brad MacArthur, a three-year defenseman who took more than two-thirds of the Knighthawks faceoffs last season. MacArthur won 148 of the 281 faceoffs taken during 2000-2001 season. Columbus also acquires Jason Crosbie, a forward who scored seven goals and eight assists while playing in seven games this past season.
