League Introduces 'Team Services' Division

By National Lacrosse League

National Lacrosse League Commissioner Jim Jennings continues on his pledge to increase team revenues with the creation of the new Team Services Division. The program is part of the Commissioner's long-term plan to increase ticket sales and sponsorships for all of the League's thirteen teams.

The Team Services Division will be led by a new member of the League Office. Jennings announced the appointment of Brett Vickers to the position of Vice President, Team Services. Vickers brings an extensive background in sponsorship sales and professional sports management to his new position.

With a heavy focus on tickets and sponsorships at the team level, Vickers will spend most of his time working in the team cities, assisting clubs with ticket sales and local sponsorships. Vickers will travel from city to city, providing support to each of the member clubs.

"I am excited to announce our new Team Services Division and the addition of Brett Vickers to our staff," said Jennings. "This League Office will not rest until all thirteen member clubs are maximizing their attendance and sponsorship sales. I see the creation of the Team Services Division as a major step in that direction."
