Busy Week Yields Big Team Signings

A flurry of notable signings took place in the National Lacrosse League over the past week as both coaches and players alike began finalizing their plans for the upcoming 2001-2002 season. Among the signings was the return of veteran attackman Troy Cordingley to the Albany Attack for his third season with the club and 10th in the NLL.

In other notable signings from around the league, attackmen Mike Benedict and Jason Tasse were traded from the Montreal Express to the Ottawa Rebel for Bruce Alexander and a fourth round pick in the 2001 Entry Draft.

In NLL personnel happenings, the New York Saints named Shane Sanderson Assistant Coach. Long time Rochester Knighthawks assistant coach Bob "Buff" McCready joined the expansion Vancouver Ravens staff as Head Eastern Scout.
