League Announces Schedule Of Games To Appear On Cnn/Sports Illustrated

The National Lacrosse League and the CNN/Sports Illustrated network have announced their broadcast schedule of NLL games for the 2001-2002 season. All games will be carried on a live, coast-to-coast national broadcast. The schedule is as follows:

The broadcast schedule begins with the Opening Game of the 2001-2002 season on Friday, November 16th, as the New Jersey Storm play their first-ever game, against the Albany Attack. The final regular season broadcast features a re-match of the 2001 Champions' Cup Final, as the Philadelphia Wings take on the Toronto Rock.

"(Deputy Commissioner) George Daniel and our partners at CNN/Sports Illustrated have put together a terrific schedule of games for the network," said Commissioner Jim Jennings. "The NLL Game of the Week on CNN/Sports Illustrated will be a big hit with our current fans, and will introduce our game to many new fans across North America."

Playoffs
CNN/Sports Illustrated will also carry all five playoff games, including the
Champions' Cup Final. Dates and locations TBD.
