It was old versus new on Friday night in Halifax when the Toronto Rock squared off against the Montreal Express in an NLL pre-season contest at the Halifax Metro Centre.
The game, which was the first of two meetings between the teams this weekend, saw the Rock defeat the Express by the score of 13-9.
In front of 6,151 fans, Toronto was lead to victory by the four goal performance by Toronto forward Colin Doyle. The Express were lead by forward Jason Henhawk?s two goals.
The Rock and Express will square off once again on Sunday in St. John?s, New Foundland at 2:00pm.
