As part of the East Coast indoor lacrosse tour the Montreal Express and Toronto Rock squared against each other for the second time in as many days in an NLL pre-season contest.
In an exciting game with 106 total shots, the fans at Mile One Stadium in St. John?s, New Foundland, saw the Rock and forward Kim Squire put on an impressive show to defeat the Express by the score of 16-13. The attendance was 3,971.
Squire recorded four goals on the evening while last years NLL Rookie of the Year Tracey Kelusky picked up seven points (1goal, 6 assists) for the
Express.
The two weekend games in Halifax and St. Johns drew a total of more than 10,000 fans. Plans have already been announced to play exhibition games there again next season.
