By National Lacrosse League

The Albany Attack announced today that former New Jersey Nets and N.B.A. All Star forward Jayson Williams will make a personal appearance at the home opening game between the Albany Attack and the expansion New Jersey Storm on Friday, November 16th at the Pepsi Arena. This game will be nationally televised on the CNN/Sports Illustrated Network, starting at 8:00 pm.

Williams, the sole owner of the expansion New Jersey Storm, purchased his franchise during the off-season and has become one of the more recognizable and aggressive owners in the National Lacrosse League.

Named after his alma mater, the St. John's University Red Storm, the New Jersey Storm are set to take the field for the 2001-2002 NLL season at the Continental Airlines arena.

Jayson, an eight-year veteran of the NBA, author of the book Loose Balls and T.V. basketball analyst, will be available immediately after the game for an on-field autograph and photo session with the Attack fans.

The Albany Attack is entering their third season of play in the NLL and will have a special pre-game show where they will be unveiling their new mascot "Wolfgang" and the new Attack Dance Team.

Season and individual game tickets are still available. For ticket information and ordering contact the Albany Attack offices at (518) 427-8145, the Pepsi Arena Box Office at (518) 487-2081 or on line at www.ticketmaster.com.
