The Montreal Express announced today that they will appear on the RDS Network during the 2001-2002 season. The broadcasts, which can be viewed throughout Quebec, will feature eight Express games all shown live and will commence on Nov 24th when the team plays its inaugural NLL game against the Calgary Roughnecks.
RDS, which began broadcasting in 1989, is the current leader in specialty French-language television in Canada. It has become a benchmark for televised sports in French, broadcasting 24 hours a day to over 2.3 million subscribers.
