First Place Express Remain Perfect With 23 16 Victory

The Montreal Express picked up their second straight victory of season with a 23-16 win over the visiting Calgary Roughnecks tonight at the Molson Centre.

Montreal was led offensively by game MVP and forward Tracey Kelusky who registered 11 points (3G-8A).

Forward Ted Dowling also added eight points (6G-2A) for Montreal.

Forward Jason Wulder led all Roughneck scorers with eight points (2G-6A).

Express net minder Curtis Palidwor picked up his second win of the season, stopping 34 of 48 shots, while Calgary's Matt King suffered the loss despite making 34 saves.

Montreal native and Express goaltender Alain Lalumiè²¥ saw his first-ever NLL action tonight at the 4:00 minute mark of the fourth quarter, making two saves in relief.

The game marked the second meeting between the two teams in less than five days, the Express won the first meeting 32-17 in Calgary on Saturday.

Both squads will see action once more this weekend with Montreal traveling to Buffalo on Saturday evening and Calgary visiting Ottawa on Sunday afternoon.
