Attack Start Strong, Weather Storm 13 5

The Albany Attack (3-1) jumped out to a 9-0 lead and went on to defeat the New Jersey Storm 13-5 at the Continental Airlines Arena Saturday.

Gary Rosyski and Nick Trudeau scored two goals apiece for the Attack and Dan Teat finished with three assists. New Jersey (1-3) trailed 8-0 at halftime and broke the shutout 8:29 into the third quarter on a goal by forward Billy LeFeuvre (2). New Jersey?s Joe Teatro (2) made it 9-2 just 28 seconds later, but New Jersey still trailed 10-3 at the end of three.

Rob Blasdell starred in goal for Albany turning aside 47 shots. Cory Leigh (2), Joe Finstad (3), and Jordan Guindon (2) all added late goals for New Jersey. The Storm was shutout in the first quarter 5-0.
