MONTREAL--Gewas Schindler scored at 5:52 of the fourth quarter to give the Columbus Landsharks their second straight win, 13-12 over the Montreal Express Friday in front of the largest crowd ever to watch professional lacrosse in Montreal, 9,296 at the Molson Centre.

Winning goalie Mike Miron made ten of his 46 saves through the final 15 minutes to preserve the victory.

Kyle Arbuckle and Bill Warder scored within the first 8:12 to give the Landsharks a 2-0 lead. Kasey Beirnes netted the third Landsharks goal at 8:40 of the opening period, but a goal and an assist by Montreal's Ted Dowling helped narrow the lead to 3-2 by the intermission.

Montreal seized the second quarter momentum with a Dowling hat trick and a string of four unanswered goals between 7:55 and 13:01, and led 9-6 at the half.

The Landsharks opened the third with a five-goal run of their own, fueled by Brent Rothfuss with two goals and an assist. Montreal responded with power play tallies by December NLL Player of the Month Tracey Kelusky and Todd Richard to tie the score at 11 with one quarter to play. The Landsharks' Neal Powless and Montreal's Aimé Caines traded early goals to set the stage for Schindler's game-winner.

Rothfuss paced the Landsharks with a hat trick and three assists. Schindler, who leads the team with 23 points, Beirnes and Powless each finished with two goals and one assist.

Dowling led the way for Montreal, scoring four goals and assisting on three others. Keluskey had three goals and three assists.
