The Rochester Knighthawks held off a furious Albany Attack rally, and went on to win 17-14 at Pepsi Arena Saturday night.

After jumping out to a 4-0 lead just 6:18 into the first, the Knighthawks threatened to run away with it, but end-to-end play and constant pressure by the Attack kept the game close. Albany scored six goals in less than eight minutes, to tie the game at 11-11 at the end of three.

Derek Malawsky scored two goals 34 second apart at Rochester took a 14-12 third quarter lead, and Grant and goalkeeper Pat O'Toole closed out the scoring.
