Gaits Spark Comeback In Homecoming

Paul Gait made the most of his final game in British Columbia with six points (2G; 4A), leading the Washington Power a 17-12 win over the Vancouver Ravens before a crowd of 12,167 at General Motors Place.

Gary Gait finished with five points (1G; 4A) and shared game MVP honors with twin brother Paul. Paul Cantabene also finished with five points (1G; 4A). Power Goalkeeper Devin Dalep finished with 51 saves, some of them spectacular.

With the Ravens up 11-9 four minutes into the fourth quarter, the Power scored eight goals in the final 10 minutes of the game to seal the win.

Rookie forward Peter Morgan had seven points (5G, 4A) for the Ravens, while forward Chris Prat finished with six points (2G; 4A). The Power defense, led by Hugh Donovan, held Ravens leading scorer Chris Gill to just three points (2G, 1A).
