Rebel To Move Downtown

By National Lacrosse League

The Ottawa Rebel are heading downtown, to the Civic Centre that is. In response to fan requests, the team will play one final game at the Corel Centre this Saturday night, February 16th against the Toronto Rock at 7:30p.m., before moving to the 10,000 seat Civic Centre.

?While the Corel Centre is a great venue, our Rebel fans wanted a smaller arena so that they could be even closer to the action?, said Ottawa Rebel President Brad Watters. ?This game is fast-paced and action-packed, and we are committed to doing what it takes to enhance the enjoyment of our fans. Our game this Saturday night against the Toronto Rock gives us one more chance to thank the folks at the Corel Centre for looking after us, before we meet the Washington Power on March 7th at the Civic Centre?.

Season ticket holders will receive comparable tickets in the mail. Fans with single game tickets will be able to redeem exchangeable tickets at the original point of sale. Tickets for games at the Civic Centre can be purchased at the Civic Centre box office on game days or through Ticketmaster.

Tickets for the March 7th Rebel game against the Washington Power and the final home game on March 24th against the New Jersey Storm will be available at the Civic Centre box office beginning Monday, February 18th.

For further ticket information call: 613-231-5608 ext. 224 or check the Ottawa Rebel website at www.ottawarebel.com.
