The Vancouver Ravens used a six-goal third quarter to pull away from the New York Saints 15-8 Saturday at GM Place.

Chris Gill bracketed the crucial flurry with goals at 1:56 and 13:43. Rich Catton recorded his only goal of the game at 2:35, followed by Chris Prat (3:05), Jamey Bowen (5:01) and Ryan O'Connor (13:06).

The barrage left Vancouver up 10-5 with 15 minutes to play. Chris Driscoll tried to spark a New York comeback with a power play tally 49 seconds into the final stanza, but Kevin Brunsch countered the goal at the 1:32 mark. New York's Gavin Prout scored twice during the period, but so did Gill and Brunsch, putting the Saints even farther in the hole.

Gill and Brunsch both finished with four goals. Gill added five assists to
Brunsch's three. Bowen finished with a hat trick and six assists for the Ravens.

Prout had a hand in six New York goals, scoring two and setting up four more. Rusty Kruger finished with three goals and two assists, and John Rosa dished off for three tallies.

Dwight Maetche posted the win in goal with 33 saves. Gord Nash stopped 40 in the losing effort.
