The defending National Lacrosse League Champion Philadelphia Wings host "X-Games Night" at the First Union Center on Saturday, February 23 at 7:35 p.m. when the Wings face the Columbus Landsharks.
The night features X-Games athletes BMX competitor Rob Nolli, Freestyle Motocross rider Dan Pastor and Bicycle Stunt legend Dave Voelker signing free autographs and special X-Games giveaways, including X-Games merchandise, skate decks, special X-Games kids packs, and X-Games magnets to the first 2,000 kids 14 and under.
Nolli, Pastor, and Voelker, who will also appear at the X-Games this summer at the First Union Complex, will interact with Wings fans throughout the night and participate in promotions throughout the game. Nolli placed eighth in the Park competition in the 2001 Summer X-Games while Pastor placed fifth in the Big Air competition and eighth in the Freestyle division, both in Freestyle Motocross.
The X-Games feature competitions in aggressive in-line skating, bicycle stunt riding, skateboarding, freestyle motocross and sportclimbing, which will be held inside and around the First Union Center again this August. Last year's X-Games drew more than 230,000 fans to the First Union Complex. Details on the 2002 X-Games in Philadelphia will be announced shortly.
