Champions Cup Playoffs Update

Entering the upcoming weekend, three of the six playoff spots have been claimed. Albany, Rochester and Washington have already clinched. Toronto needs just one win in their last four games to clinch a playoff spot and win the Northern Division. There are four teams battling for the other two remaining playoff berths: Buffalo, Montreal, Philadelphia and Vancouver.

The Albany Attack (12-2) can clinch the Central Division title and a first round bye if they beat the Montreal Express on Friday and if the Rochester Knighthawks (11-3) lose to the Toronto Rock on Saturday.

The Toronto Rock (9-3) can clinch the Northern Division title with a victory against the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday. Toronto also would clinch the division if the Vancouver Ravens (8-6) lose to the Calgary Roughnecks on Saturday. Toronto could also clinch at least a wild card berth if the Philadelphia Wings (6-7) lose to Washington on Saturday.

The Vancouver Ravens (8-6) can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Calgary and a loss by Philadelphia to Washington.

The Montreal Express (8-6) can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Albany and a loss by Philadelphia to Washington.
