Chris Prat and Peter Morgan each scored four goals as the Vancouver Ravens downed the Calgary Roughnecks 17-10 in front of 12,224 at GM Place Saturday night.
Prat, who was selected Game MVP, also dished out five assists.
The win improves the Ravens record to 9-6.
After a low scoring first quarter, the Ravens jumped out to a 7-3 halftime lead, and increased it to 12-4 on the strength of a four goal spurt to open the third quarter. Two of the four goals were scored by Morgan in a span of 2:04.
Both teams poured it on in the fourth quarter, with Calgary outscoring the Ravens 6-5, including goals 11 seconds apart, at 20 seconds and 32 seconds by Ben Prepchuk and Todd Katanchik.
Prepchuk (3g, 2a) and Kyle Goundrey (1g, 4a) led the Roughnecks who drop to 4-11.
Dwight Maetche made 29 saves for the Ravens, while Calgary's Grant McLeod stopped 33 in three quaters, and Matt King stopped 11 in the fourth stanza.
