Albany Attack forward Josh Sanderson has recorded 64 assists through 15 games this season. As of Monday, Sanderson had been credited with 62 assists for the season. Upon further review of the Albany at Columbus game played on March 9th, Sanderson was credited with an additional two assists, giving him a total of four during that game, and bringing his season total to 64, with one game remaining.

Sanderson has now tied the record set last season by Buffalo Bandits forward John Tavares, who set the record of 64 assists during a 14-game regular season.

The Albany forward has also scored 32 goals, leading to a total of 96 points (4th place among the League Leaders in points). Sanderson has led a revamped offense in Albany, that has propelled the team the best overall record in the League (13-2). The Attack can clinch the #1 seed and home field throughout the playoffs with a victory over Montreal on Sunday (7pm at the Pepsi Arena in Albany) or a Rochester loss to Columbus on Friday.
