New York City)-- Albany Attack head coach Bob McMahon has been named NLL Coach of the Year, announced today.
In his first season as a head coach in the League, McMahon led the Attack to a League-best record of 14-2, winning the Central Division crown and the top seed in the 2002 NLL Champions Cup playoffs. Last season, the Attack went 5-9. Albany hosts Toronto in the 2002 Champions Cup Final on Saturday.
The Orangeville, Ontario served as an assistant coach during the Attack's first two seasons.
The League Awards are voted on by the Board of Governors and General Managers of the League's thirteen member clubs.
