League Hires Chief Financial Officer
(New York)-The National Lacrosse League announces the hiring of Joe Cussick to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
Cussick brings an accomplished career of more than thirty years in the finance industry to the position. The League's new CFO previously worked for Deloitte & Touche, one of America's 'Big Five' accounting firms. Cussick also served as the CFO for the United States Football League from 1982-1987. Before joining the NLL, Cussick served as CFO for the Public Relations Society of America.
'Our League has grown rapidly in the past two years, and we are busier than ever,' said Commissioner Jim Jennings. 'It's the right time in our growth period to hire a full-time financial manager. Joe Cussick brings a wealth of experience and know-how to the position.'
Cussick holds a degree in accounting from Seton Hall University. He resides in New Jersey with his wife, Marianne.
