(New York)-The National Lacrosse League has announced its schedule for the annual summer meeting of the Board of Governors. The meetings begin on Tuesday, June 18th and will conclude on Thursday, June 20th. The meetings will be held in New York City, at the world famous Madison Square Garden.
The Board of Governors consists of the ownership and top management executives of all thirteen of the League's member teams. The Board will use these meetings to make important decisions about the League's future. The Governors are expected to make key decisions on several fronts. Expansion and team relocation, proposed changes to the rules of the game, and changes to the League's United States television contract are some of the highlights on the agenda.
'Our Board of Governors Meeting is one of the most important events on our off-season calendar,' said Commissioner Jim Jennings. 'The ownership makes all of our major decisions and keeps us on the path to continued growth and success.'
