The National Lacrosse League has announced that the New Jersey Storm has acquired forward Roy Colsey and Buffalo's second round draft selection in the 2002 Entry Draft in exchange for New Jersey forward Kerry Susheski, defensemen Jordan Guindon, and the team's first round draft selection in the 2002 Entry Draft, the fifth overall selection.
Colsey had been traded to the Bandits in February from the Saints along with teammates Brad Darion, and Jonas Derks; in exchange the Saints received Chris Driscoll, Jason Clark, Phil Wetherup, and Rob Kirkby.
Colsey finished 18th in the League with 76 points this season (47G, 29A,) and was selected for the 2001-02 All-Star Game. In December, Colsey was named Offensive Player of the Week when he was with the Saints.
Susheski, a New Westminster, British Columbia native, completed his rookie season with the Storm with 11 goals, and two assists, for a total of 13 points.
Guindon is a 6-1, 220 pound defensemen for N. Vancouver, British Columbia. He completed his rookie season with the Storm with eight games played, and 15 loose balls.
