Knighthawks Open Training Camp Nov 2 Nd

The Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League open their 2002-03 training camp on Saturday, November 2nd at the Total Sports Experience in Gates.

Last year's NLL Semifinalists will hold workout sessions at the facility on November 2nd and November 3rd. Day One of camp runs from 10:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, November 2nd. Prior to the practice, the team will conduct physicals and strength and conditioning tests from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The late-night session is free and open to the public.

The Knighthawks hit the floor the following morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The session on Sunday, November 4th is also free and open to the public. Players are available for autographs following Day Two of training camp. The media is also encouraged to attend.

Rochester opens the 2002-03 season at home on Saturday, December 28th at 7:35 p.m. against the New Jersey Storm. Tickets are available by calling (585) 454-5335. Last season, the K-Hawks finished second in the Central Division with a 13-3 record.

In other team news, Rochester Knighthawks General Manager Jody Gage has announced the signing of forward Bill Warder. The Fairport, NY, native played for the Buffalo Bandits during the 2000-01 campaign, and spent last season with the Columbus Landsharks. In his NLL career, he has registered three goals and four assists in 15 games.
