By National Lacrosse League

The official Colorado Mammoth training camp will begin Friday, November 8th at 9pm Mountain time. There will be two sessions on Saturday as well, from 10 am - 1pm and 5pm - 8pm. All training camp sessions will be open to the public. The sessions will be held at the Arapahoe Sports Center in Englewood, Colorado.

"We are really excited about the talent of this squad," said Govett. "We had a great rookie camp two weeks ago and are looking forward to seeing the 13 participants we took from that weekend jump in with the veterans."

University of Denver Pioneer Tom Ethington was invited on to training camp with the veterans and is said to be doing very well in training camp. "We are pleased in what we're seeing out of Tom at this point," said Steve Govett. "He has good timing and his size and speed make him a true competitor on this squad. We look forward to seeing him mix it up with the veterans."

Training Camp will run most weekends from November 8 through December 20, 2002. Training camp will be held primarily at Arapahoe Sports Center at 7300 S. Fraser Street in Englewood, CO. The phone number there is 303-617-3988. There will be some practices held in Fort Collins, Colorado and that information will be released as it is available.

The inaugural Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse 2003 season schedule has been released and begins January 3, 2003 against the Toronto Rock at the Pepsi Center. Season ticket packages range from $80 - $240 and can be purchased now at 303-405-1101 or at www.coloradomammoth.com.
