By National Lacrosse League

Philadelphia Wings forward Kevin Finneran has been given permission by the Wings to speak with other teams about a possible trade. Contrary to recent reports, Finneran is still under contract with the Wings. The twelve-year league veteran is in the final season of a three-year contract. Wings General Manager Marty O'Neill said, "We are going to do our best to honor Kevin's request to be traded. Kevin has given us ten great seasons in Philadelphia, and we thank him for his service. We have given him permission to speak with the teams himself in the hopes of working out an acceptable trade as quickly as possible."

In twelve seasons, Finneran has played 127 regular season games, scoring 211 goals and tallying 296 assists.
