Renegades Mascot "Ruffy" To Represent Rebel

Ruffy, the busy beaver and mascot for the Ottawa Renegades of the Canadian Football League, has agreed to terms with the Ottawa Rebel Lacrosse Club of the National Lacrosse League and will pull double duty as goodwill ambassador of the football team and the lacrosse team.

The Big Brown Guy will make appearances at all Rebel home games at the Civic Centre during the 2003 NLL season. He also plans to be present at community functions in Ottawa and the region.

The Rebel begin the 2003 National Lacrosse League season on Saturday, December 28 (2002) at the Civic Centre against the Calgary Roughnecks. The game begins at the Civic Centre at 3:30 p.m.
