Bandits Beat Calgary, 23 17

John Tavares tied a franchise record with seven goals (7G, 3A, 10P) to lead the Bandits to 23-17 victory over the visiting Calgary Roughnecks. Buffalo led 14-6 at halftime and never looked back, using a powerplay that went 8 for 11 on the night. Along with Tavares, the Bandits were led by Mike Accursi (5G, 3A, 8P) and Mark Steenhuis (4G, 2A, 6P). Steve Dietrich picks up the win in goal for the Bandits in front of 5,590 at the HSBC Arena.

Calgary was led by Craig Stevenson (3G, 4A, 7P), Kaleb Toth (1G, 5A 6P), and Lewis Ratcliffe (3G, 2A, 5P). The Bandits improved to 4-1 and will play Columbus on Saturday, February 1st at 7:30. Calgary falls to 2-3 on the season.
