Buffalo Overcomes Attack In Fourth Quarter

The Buffalo Bandits shut out the Albany Attack in the fourth quarter, outscoring their division rivals 5-0 to claim victory at the Pepsi Arena. The game was neck-and-neck the entire way, with both teams accumulating many penalties in the second half. However, Buffalo stayed in the game, scoring three shorthanded goals. John Tavares led Buffalo with two goals and six assists, while Jonas Derks scored four goals for the Bandits.

Buffalo improves to 7-1, as they host the New York Saints (1-6) on Sunday at the HSBC Arena. Albany falls to 2-6.
