03/06/2003, 3:59pm EST
By National Lacrosse League

Josh Sanderson recorded his 100th goal as a member of the Albany Attack at 1:44 of the 4th quarter on an even strength situation against the New Jersey Storm. Sanderson joins teammate Gary Rosyski as the second player in Attack history to reach this milestone.

In his fourth season with Albany, "Shooter", as he is known by his teammates, leads the Attack in most points (217) and most assists (134) and became the NLL all-time assist leader last season with a record 68 assists.

Acquired in the 1999 expansion draft from the Rochester Knighthawks, Josh suffered a torn ACL against the Toronto Rock and underwent reconstructive knee surgery in the
in the spring of 2000. Two seasons later, Shooter became a first team All-Pro, a first team All Star and finished the season as the fourth leading scorer in the NLL.
Coach Bob McMahon sums up the importance of Josh when he praises him as "...an absolute natural born competitor. He has established himself as a league superstar despite his 5'7", 160lb. frame. There isn't a day when he doesn't give 200% on the field and in the locker room. He is the ultimate player".

The Attack travel to Columbus on Friday, March 7 for a pivotal rematch with the Landsharks and then return home on Saturday, March 15 to face the New York Saints at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for all Attack home games can be obtained in-person at the Pepsi Arena box office or any Ticketmaster location, or online via Ticketmaster.com.
