By National Lacrosse League

Matt Roik held off a late Ottawa charge to help the New Jersey Storm to a 16-15 victory at the Continental Airlines Arena. The victory breaks an eight-game losing streak for the Storm, who are now under the command of Head Coach Peter Vipond.

Roy Colsey and Marc Morley led the Storm, each recording three goals and an assist. However, the performance of Roik was the story, as he recorded 35 saves to hold off an Ottawa comeback as the game winded down.

Jamie Roy and Jason Clark each had three goals and an assist for the Rebel, who fall to 4-7. New Jersey improves to 3-9.
