Albany Defeats New York, 13 8

The Albany Attack defeated the struggling New York Saints, 13-8, at the Pepsi Arena on Saturday. The Saints held a 5-4 lead in the first half, but Albany went on a six goal run and never looked back. The victory extends Albany's win streak to four games. The Attack were 2-6 earlier in the season, but battled back to .500 and are now in a three-way tie for the final playoff spot.

Rusty Kruger led the Attack with three goals and four assists, while Rob Blasdell got the win between the pipes for the Attack, recording 34 saves. Gary Rosyski also contributed with three goals and two assists.

Gavin Prout led the Saints with three goals and two assists, while Brian Bendig scored two goals. Gee Nash played well, recording 42 saves.

The loss marks the sixth straight for New York (1-12). The Saints have a three-game homestand to finish the season. Albany improves to 6-6, with their final four games determining their postseason fate.
