By National Lacrosse League

The Vancouver Ravens avenged their defeat two weeks ago against the Colorado Mammoth, turning the tables with a 14 ? 9 victory in front of 7,520 at General Motors Place.

Vancouver produced a strong first quarter that saw them establish a three-goal lead. Despite being outshot by the Mammoth, the Ravens carried their lead into halftime, staying ahead 7 ? 4. A dominant third period in which the Ravens outscored the Mammoth 5 ? 1 sealed the game for Vancouver.

Game MVP Chris Prat continued his excellent form, leading Vancouver with six points (3G, 3A). Chris Gill scored four goals, three of which came in the first half. Dwight Maetche was outstanding in goal for the Ravens, making 43 saves against a Mammoth offence that enjoyed a wealth of possession.

Gary Gait scored five goal goals for the Mammoth, who are yet to register a win on the road this season. Del Halladay chipped in with five assists for the visitors.
