The Rochester Knighthawks have announced that the March 29th game against the Buffalo Bandits will be rebroadcast on Time Warner Cable Channel 98 at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th.
?It was such an exciting game that we wanted to show it again to the lacrosse fans of Rochester,? said Knighthawks President and CEO Steve Donner.
With the team on a bye week, fans can fill their lacrosse cravings with the Knighthawks-Buffalo game. The K-Hawks defeated Buffalo 18-9 at The Blue Cross Arena in front of 10,379 fans and stayed alive in the race for the Central Division regular season title. The win pulled the K-Hawks (11-4) to within a half game of the Bandits (11-3).
John Grant and Pat O?Toole were both honored by the National Lacrosse League for their performances against Buffalo in the 18-9 win.
Grant was named the Offensive Player of the Week after recording a season-high 11 points against the Bandits. He scored six goals and registered five assists. O?Toole was honored as the NLL?s Defensive Player of the Week for his 39-save performance on Saturday night.
Rochester finishes the 2002-03 regular season on Saturday, April 12th, as it hosts the Philadelphia Wings at 7:35 p.m. on Awards Night. The game will be broadcast on News Talk 950 WROC and televised live on WB-16.
