Anaheim Launches Junior Storm Lacrosse Team

The Anaheim Storm officially presents their 2004 Junior Storm lacrosse team. The team is an indoor lacrosse team for youth ages 10-13 (deadline: January 1, 2004) that will participate in an exhibition game against the Vancouver Jr. Ravens, on Saturday, March 13 and possibly the Colorado Jr. Mammoth as well.

The tryout will be held on this Saturday, December 13 from 1- 3:00 PM at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim.

While the team is not for competition, but rather for enjoyment of playing the sport and to help promote the sport of lacrosse, there will not be weekly team practices but instead be activities for the players to become acquainted with one another.

In the time leading up to the game there will be one or two practices, which will be determined at a later date, to enable the team members to become familiar with the indoor lacrosse setup and their teammates.

In addition the March 13th contest the Jr. Storm will also participate in exhibition games at halftime during selected Anaheim Storm home games. Travel costs must funded by the player with travel details to be determined at a later date.
