Storm Take On Arizona In Home Opener

The Anaheim Storm officially begin their first season out West when they welcome the Arizona Sting to the Arrowhead Pond on Saturday at 7:30 (PST). The Storm will look to a re-vamped line-up that includes forward Chris Panos (33G, 23A in 02-03), Casey Powell and Scott Stewart (29G, 19A in 02-03) to lead the club this season.

The Sting and goaltender Mike Miron (.803 save percentage) will play their second game in as many nights when they visit Southern California. The Sting defeated the Vancouver Ravens 16-12 in their home opener two weeks ago and currently sit in a two-way tie for first place in the Western Division.

The game will mark the fifth meeting between the two clubs with the all-time regular season series tied at two games a piece.
