Knighthawks Coach Paul Suggate Resigns

Rochester to name new head coach on Friday

The Rochester Knighthawks announced today that Paul Suggate has resigned as the team's head coach. The Knighthawks will be naming a new head coach in the immediate future.

"We would like to thank Paul for his hard work the past couple of months and wish him the best of luck," said Knighthawks General Manager Regy Thorpe.

The Knighthawks will resume their practice schedule on Sunday, December 28th with a 9:00 a.m. session at the Rochester Sports Garden (1460 East Henrietta Road). The practice is free and open to the public and the players will be available for autographs.


Paul Suggate (right), who was named Head Coach of the Knighthawks this summer, has resigned just two weeks before the team's season opener against Philadelphia.
